A supplement is a supplement is a supplement, right? I've recently discovered that the answer is, definitely, no! These babies practically perform miracles.
Ever since moving to the UK over eight years ago, my skin has been problematic. I terribly miss my days of wearing a little tinted moisturiser or just concealer and some powder where I need it. However, like so many Australians that make the move over here, I've struggled with angry, painful breakouts and all sorts of issues with my skin.
I've been using my Emma Hardie products for a while and they made a massive difference but over the last month things have gone to a whole new level. Yes, I have a few bits of discolouration, but what 35 year old doesn't? Apart from that, I've nearly got my dream skin since using the Functionalab Hair Skin and Nails supplements.
The ingredients in these supplements are all pure and 100% natural. Not just that, but they've all gone through clinical trials!!! (When I say that, I'm talking about the ingredients, not the actual supplement itself.) It was the clinical trials that got my attention. It's so rare for products to make that claim these days.
What I wasn't expecting from these are the added extras. It's not just my skin that's glowing with new found health. Everyone has been commenting on how good my hair looks. I wouldn't say it's thicker, but there seems to be more of it and it's growing faster than it has in years. Finally, my weight seems to have found a nice place. I've had several people tell me I've lost weight, and I've dropped a dress size all without changing anything. I wouldn't necessarily tell someone to use this product for weight management, but it's a welcomed bonus!
Functionalabs do all kinds of targeted products for specific issues. I'm definitely going to keep taking the Hair Skin and Nails but quite fancy trying the Age Defence or the Body Toning formulas as well.
You can check them out at Functionalab.co.uk
